GN101 -- The Presentation
Anastasia Betts, the founder of this site and vision behind GN101, is often asked to present to educational audiences on the depth, breadth, and importance of using Graphic Novels in the classroom. She has been a frequent presenter at UCLA's Chancellor's and With Different Eyes Conferences, and has also had the privilege of presenting at conferences for the California Reading Association, National Writing Project, and Comic Con International, among others. Over the years, her presentation has developed into quite a lengthy piece of documentation! Rather than print copies and hand them out at conferences, she has elected to save trees and post the presentation here. It is divided into eight separate parts so that you can print whichever part seems most useful to you. All she asks is that you print only what you need, and whenever you use or reference the information in this presentation, that you mention her name as the aggregator of the info. Thanks!
